my name is elsa, i am a senior majoring in design w a minor in illustration at western washington university. i am currently learning how to use html (if you cant tell). i enjoy painting both digitally and traditionally, working with linocut and woodblock printing and drawing with my personal favorite tool - the ball point pen. Childrens book illustrations, frasurbane, saul bass, impressionism and surrealism are all points of reference for me as an artist. I find my favorite work stems from where illustration and graphic design merge. If I am not doodling on my ipad, you can most likely find me on Mount Baker during the winter or serving up some amazing Thai food at work!
